i'm thankful for the friends that i have, friends that standby and support me when i am down.
i sat in a really old school SMRT bus on saturday... it's the same one i used to take with my grandparents when i was a kid; where they had the conductor to come and punch your bus ticket as you handed him the money. it was definitely a nostalgic moment while on the way home.
sleepy, my neighbour's stray adopted cat caught a mouse on sunday and left it along the staircase. the mouse looked more like it was sound asleep than dead. then i saw a dead bird with its guts spilling out as i walking to work this morning. what's up with seeing dead animals two days in a row.
i'm not pious or religious but in times of uncertainty and despair, i really have to thank God for being the peace that guards my heart. i couldn't have felt this way if not for Him and i'm really thankful that God is ever faithful and He has never forsaken me.
i hope things look up this week and even if it doesn't, i must learn that many things are beyond my control and always look to the positive side of things.
